FEMINISM:
There are of course different kinds of feminism ... and feminists.
Personally, I see it as a question of Human Rights!
Feminism is about equity and mutual respect; because, above the physiological and psychological differences which oppose them, males and females, boys and girls, men and women are equal.
It's not about gender war! It's about Equal Rights... the right to feel safe, the right to be respected and treated fairly, because we're Human Beings!
Yes, I'm a Feminist.
Not because I hate men; I don't!...
I need Feminism because society teaches us "Don't get raped" instead of "Don't rape"!

I was stunned to realize that John Lennon, who could have been my grandfather, was so openminded, aware and concerned about the status of women. It was a long time ago!
Why is it that so many people are still unable to figure out that women arent 'slaves' or pets and shouldn't be treated as such?

Centenary of the women’s vote in London
Join in a series of special events honouring the 100th anniversary of the women's right to vote.
What are women’s human rights?
Women’s rights are the fundamental human rights that were enshrined by the United Nations for every human being on the planet nearly 70 years ago. These rights include the right to live free from violence, slavery, and discrimination; to be educated; to own property; to vote; and to earn a fair and equal wage.
As the now-famous saying goes, “women’s rights are human rights.” That is to say, women are entitled to all of these rights. Yet almost everywhere around the world, women and girls are still denied them, often simply because of their gender.
Winning rights for women is about more than giving opportunities to any individual woman or girl; it is also about changing how countries and communities work. It involves changing laws and policies, winning hearts and minds, and investing in strong women’s organizations and movements.
Global Fund for Women exists to support the tireless and courageous efforts of women’s groups who work every day to win rights for women and girls. These groups are working to ensure women can own property, vote, run for office, get paid fair wages, and live free from violence – including domestic violence, sexual assault, and harmful practices such as female genital mutilation. https://www.globalfundforwomen.org/womens-human-rights/
