My Book Review > What Alice Forgot, by Liane Moriarty

The idea that a woman forgot 10 years of her life, and didn't remember even her 3 children is interesting and funny... However, the story is more meaningful and deep that it appears first. Thanks to her accident, Alice was given a 'chance' to rediscover her life, to see it differently, and to rebuild it. Her feelings and emotions are real, beautiful and sweet, but the books says more: life can be tragic, too; people (those you love, and yourself) change over time... Fortunately, Alice's accident will give her an opportunity to see things differently, even after she recovers her memory... and it will be for the best. To a certain extent, it's a modern fairy tale! (The only thing that was disturbing is that it really made me understand that being a woman -a wife and a mum- isn't easy... it's scary!). Anyway, I had fun with this book; and Alice is... awesome!
