“A Wedding in Italy” is the sequel to Tilly Tennant’s “Rome is where the Heart is”. Remember? Kate fell for Alessandro during her trip to the Eternal City; back to England, she decided to settle in Italy and live with her Italian boyfriend.

However, even if you are guided by love, taking up residence in a new country is a long, difficult and winding road: it’s certainly not an easy thing!

Even if Kate’s path was marked out, she soon discovered that settling abroad, even in one of the world most remarkable place like Rome isn’t easy; actually, it proved to be tougher than expected. Indeed, once back in the Eternal City, her life was filled with many pitfalls: indeed, since she had limited resources after her divorce, she had to engage immediately in an active job hunting which wasn’t easy because she didn’t speak Italian; she also had to establish a positive relationship with her boyfriend’s family, which wasn’t such an obvious thing at least as regards some of Alessandro’s siblings... not to mention Orazia, an unpredictable psychopath who, because she was in love with her boyfriend, was bent on destroying Kate’s life. Furthermore, as if that wasn't enough, she had to get her marriage annulled (even if she was divorced) to marry in the Catholic Church (this being a cardinal prerequisite for pleasing Alessandro’s Mom and live peacefully with him)!

But there was no stopping her! True love overcomes everything, isn’t it? The couples that are meant to be go through everything that’s designed to tear them apart. Yes! Kate and Leonardo’s story has a happy ending, with a beautiful wedding ceremony. All's well that ends well!
