Sapho was a divine poetess who sang the praises of Love and Peace:
"I would much prefer to see the lovely
way she walks and the radiant glance of her face
than the war-chariots of the Lydians or
their footsoldiers in arms". Sapho, excerpt from poem 16.
After many readings / ancient Greece, I'm now reading Sapho's poems... and I'm in awe!
